The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) is a trade association — a nonprofit organization that serves and supports the language services and technologies industry. That industry encompasses translation, interpreting, localization, internationalization, and the technologies that support those activities.
ELIA (European Language Industry Association)
Elia is the European not-for-profit trade association of language service companies with a mission to accelerate its members‘ business success. Founded in 2005, it has become the leading trade association for the language services industry in Europe.
FICCI-Indian Language Internet Alliance
FICCI-Indian Language Internet Alliance (FICCI-ILIA) is a non- government and not-for-profit organization that works towards development of local language content for internet in India. The objective of the alliance is to boost internet penetration in the country by enabling greater access of regional language content on the internet and to bridge the knowledge divide by propelling the next phase of growth for content generators, content enablers, advertisers and other stakeholders of the Indic ecosystem.
CITLoB (Confederation of Interpreting, Translation and Localisation Businesses)
CITLoB is the Indian language industry’s body that aims to bring together all stakeholders within the language ecosystem on one platform for better cooperation, learning, sharing and progress.
